i'm pretty positive its tied to how many points you get in the match. I haven't kept too many tabs on how much I get but its usually either 50k ISK or sometimes 90K but usually settles in the middle...

there's not much to recommend, however, I had a lot of trouble getting my Razer Naga to work well. Once I switched to a cheapo $15 logitech it works just fine. So don't bother getting gaming equipment, get something affordable...
